Is it safe/recommended to fly a puppy across the US?

I’m on the west coast, considering buying a large breed dog from a breeder on the east coast. The puppy will have to ride in the back with the luggage. Is this too traumatic for a 8-10 week old pup?

Sounds like you are dealing with a back yard breeder. I would not fly a puppy coast to coast. Why don’t you try to get a dog locally like from a shelter instead of encouraging more byb.
